cyfishyThis Friday will be my second rezday, and I'm honestly now sure how (or if) I'm going to celebrate.
My first rezday was bittersweet, and I wonder if each subsequent rezday is doomed to be an echo of it. One year ago that day was the day Miles and I first set up shop for Social Butterfly (even if we did wind up moving locations subsequently.) And one year ago that day was the day I chose to end my intimate relationship with my RL/SL lover.
We broke up in IM. How classic is that?
There's no going back, even if I wanted it. We remain on good terms and still bump into each other now and again. But I'm still not completely over it, even now, even a year later.
So we'll see. It's rather short notice for me to organize anything, anyway, but if I managed to make it in on Friday, do feel free to say hello.
