caliburnsusanto pointed me to a male walk/run replacer that was only L$250 and doesn't look too bad. It's one of those Release Keys types, though, which I'll still have to get used to. I'd still just like to find an AO that I can hack to change animations on, particularly now that I know a thing or two about designing my own.

If you can point me towards some affordable male skin with the impossibly pale look, let me know. :)
